Overview
Westboro Nursery School delivers a high level of personal attention and care for their students. The goals were to express the school’s values and create an image that was emotive and honest. The original sketch for this was done on my iPhone while I was out one day. A good example of why I believe design can’t be billed by the hour.
Testimonial
“Steve managed to capture the essence of our school’s philosophy in a logo reflecting warmth and structure. Throughout the process, he was consistently professional, creative and above all, helpful as this was a new experience for us coming into it with a logo that was 40 years old. Steve sincerely cared about what he was doing for us on a personal level and we couldn’t be happier with the results.”

Love this one Steve. Nicely done.
Oh, one more thing. Is the Century Schoolbook echoed anywhere else? What made you go DIN all caps on the business card?
Thanks for the kind words Isabelle. This is a case where if I was to redo the card I may use Century Schoolbook. It was used in other collateral but I liked the contrast that DIN provided on the cards although in hindsight it does not ‘read’ as friendly.
